It was just a fluke that I found out that the Grammy Nominee, Jenny Oaks Baker did not have a Twitter account. A couple of days before they all headed over to California for the Grammy Awards I contacted Jenny on Facebook and asked what her Twitter username was because I could not find her. She explained that she did not yet have a Twitter account and asked if I would mind contacting her publicist, Heather. Of course, I didn’t mind at all. Heather and her team requested that I would be the go-to Twitter person throughout the Grammy weekend for Jenny Oaks Baker. It was very fun to tweet about all that was happening at the Grammy’s and to see what others were tweeting as well.

Jenny was nominated for her album WISH UPON A STAR with music from Disney movies. Jenny’s talent and skill are superb. Her violin sings like an angel in heaven. The music was arranged and produced by Kurt Bestor on the Shadow Mountain Record label. I now have a copy and listen to it a lot. The music is robust and inspiring.

Heather was so kind to give me this endorsement: “Susan was able to harness all the buzz about our Grammy Nominee, and push it through many channels!  She truly went above and beyond for us.  She has a great handle on all aspects of social media.”  Heather, publicist for Shadow Mountain Records. Thank you, Heather!

Thank you to Presidential Candidate, N. Yeah Samake and lovely First Lady Hopeful, Marissa Samake for their endorsement!

“On May 7th, 2011 we announced our bid for the Presidency of Mali in Salt Lake City, Utah. Susan Escalante was in attendance at our announcement dinner. Being the proactive, resourceful media specialist she is, Susan took it upon herself to use Twitter to rally support and bring our Presidential campaign to the media. She used social media to notify traditional media. Several national and international media opportunities have resulted from her persistent efforts. She is now opening Expressive Communications to help others increase their online presence and gain media attention. We wish her only the best and know that she and her staff will utilize their savvy skills to benefit their clients as we have benefited from her professionalism and go-get-it attitude. No feat is too big or too small for Expressive Communications.”
